This book is worthy of being launched on International Women’s Day. The author is a fighter whose story deserves to be told, read and applauded.
Usually I accept books to review with a deadline of a month ahead, to ensure I allow myself the time they deserve to read the books in full and write a worthy review. This book looked so captivating I broke my rule. It was riveting so the 2.5-week deadline was not a problem.
Please note: this book has a content warning for adult content. It graphically depicts violence and abuse, which is difficult to bear witness to.
