Annabel’s presentation was well-prepared and well-structured. She was able to read poetry from her own book and show the accompanying illustrations which she had made, this inspired the participants in the course. Annabel then used several of her poems to make templates that the participants were encouraged to use to write their own poems. Throughout this process the participants also received a mini-grammar lesson! Several of the participants commented on how supportive it was to have templates to start writing with.
Annabel explained that she used poetry and illustrations as a way of ‘working things out’. Working things out through expressing through art or illustration is such a useful tool for participants to have. Participants found the session to be informative and inspirational.

We gauge the success of these events by the customer feedback and engagement afterwards, and both of these were positive experiences! Thanks again for putting together a great presentation and going to so much trouble.
